Carolyn Boettner
My Color Art Share The Love
Carolyn Boettner was a lifelong creator whose journey through art and life spanned from a small town in Texas to the serene landscape of her final sanctuary. Born in Pampa, Texas, she spent her youth there before moving to Orange County, California, for her teenage years. Following a difficult period in her life in Bakersfield, California, she found a new beginning and a lasting partnership with her husband, Roger Boettner. Together, they shared fifty years of happiness, eventually relocating to the place that would define her legacy.
The pages you see today are a gift from Carolyn’s world to yours. Each illustration from the delicate floral patterns to the “Lady of the Forest” is a reflection of the peace and creativity she found at Kirkwood Cottage.
About The Book
Carolyn Boettner
Carolyn Boettner spent over 50 years coloring the world with kindness, imagination, and a tireless devotion to art. Though she left us in December 2024, her creative spirit didn’t stop—it simply waited for a new partner
My Color Art: Share the Love is more than a coloring book; it is a posthumous invitation from a lifelong artist to you. Carolyn believed that art was a “quiet language of a resting heart,” and she spent her final years perfecting the techniques of alcohol markers and pencil blending that fill these pages.
Now, she invites you to pick up your brushes, pens, and pencils to finish what she started. When you add your color to her lines, your hands meet hers across time. This is your chance to merge your artistic soul with hers and help her love reach every corner of the world
